Goals

  1. Raise the Level of Student Achievement
    • Provide students with incentives to facilitate their determination to succeed.
    • Increase the number of students enrolled in Career Technical Education programs.
    • Recruit, select and train qualified instructional staff.
    • Increase program quality and quantity.
    • Provide effective counseling and guidance for student and parents in their decison-making process.
    • Utilize effective measurement tools to assist with required reporting.
  2. Enhance communications that increase awareness and understanding of Mountain Institute's Vision, Mission, Values, Goals and Programs.
    • Develop Strategies to increase media reporting on Mountain Institute programs and success in each community.
    • Utilize various formats to disseminate information to different constituencies.
    • Create opportunities for parent engagement.
  3. Plan for and provide progressive, competent, comprehensive Career and Technical Education.
    • Develop and implement .99 curriculum in all schools.
    • Support local development of Career Exploration programs in satellite districts.
    • Support outlying districts in efforts to incorporate new and effective instructional technologies.
    • Aggressively pursue development of new satellite programming in outlying areas that include.
  4. Develop Mountain Institute Board as a Professional learning Community.
    • Create opportunites for Governing Board development that enhance indiviual growth and group effectiveness.
